Michelle Bolsonaro used social media on Saturday night (1st) to share a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed. In the publication, the former first lady thanked the messages of support received and showed gratitude for the prayers and affection of her followers during the period in which she underwent medical examinations.

The hospitalization took place to carry out a battery of tests designed to investigate recurrent migraine attacks. Although she reported that she was under medical care, Michelle did not disclose details about the results of the procedures carried out.

The publication takes place on the eve of an important political commitment. This Sunday (2), the Liberal Party (PL) is holding its convention, on which occasion Michelle Bolsonaro and federal deputy Bia Kicis are expected to officially launch their candidacies for the Federal Senate for the Federal District.

The deputy reported that Michelle was unable to attend the event because she was undergoing tests at a hospital. Initially, her presence had been announced, but the information was corrected by the deputy moments later.

While Michelle was taking the exams, a decision by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), allowed her sister, Geovanna Kathleen Ferreira Lima, to temporarily remain in the residence where former president Jair Bolsonaro is under humanitarian house arrest.

The request was presented by Bolsonaro's defense, who argued that Michelle would need to be absent from the residence to undergo medical examinations, with the possibility of hospitalization, making it necessary for her sister-in-law to be present to provide assistance to the former president and also to the couple's daughter during this period.

In the decision signed this Saturday, Alexandre de Moraes highlighted that the authorization granted is exceptional and will only be valid until Michelle Bolsonaro returns home.

Jair Bolsonaro remains under humanitarian house arrest as ordered by the STF minister. The measure was granted in March 2026, after the former president was hospitalized for treatment of bronchopneumonia. Initially, the authorization provided for a duration of 90 days, counting from hospital discharge, but was later maintained by decision of Alexandre de Moraes.

Michelle's post on social media, thanking her for the support she received while undergoing her medical exams, comes precisely in the midst of preparations for the Liberal Party convention, which should mark the official start of her candidacy for the Senate for the Federal District. Meanwhile, the judicial authorization for his sister to remain in the residence guarantees assistance to the former president during the former first lady's temporary absence.
