"Tereza Cristina is an exceptional figure, she was President Jair Bolsonaro's minister, a reference in several areas, especially in agriculture, highly respected within politics, inside the country and outside the country. The invitation was made, she accepted, and now we are in talks to find out whether the party will move forward or not", he declared during a coffee with the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), the mayor of the capital of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), and state parliamentarians.
Almost at the same time, the PP released a statement stating that it will maintain neutrality in the presidential dispute and that the decision will be accepted by Tereza Cristina.
Flávio said that the negotiations are not restricted to the PP and that his campaign continues to dialogue with parties such as the Republicans. "Meanwhile, we continue talking to other parties, and Dani, who is from the Republicans, is here by my side. The important thing is that we are putting together a great team", he stated, citing Daniella Marques.
The senator highlighted that campaign allies also participate in political articulations. "Senator Rogério Marinho (PL-RN) is talking to several people, I talk, Dani talks. Our team, thank God, is large, multi-party. I am convinced that, regardless of party formalities or not, everyone is engaged in rescuing the country", he stated.
