BTG/Nexus: Flávio Bolsonaro appears as most rejected by voters

The rejection of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) for the Presidency of the Republic is at 50%, according to a BTG/Nexus survey released this Monday, 27th. Next comes President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) with 48%. The two remain technically tied for leadership of the most rejected presidential candidates, due to the margin of error of two percentage points. In the last survey, on July 13, Flávio had the same percentage, 50%, and Lula had 46%, with a positive fluctuation of 2 p.p. for today's survey.

In terms of rejection, Romeu Zema (Novo) recorded 32%, Ronaldo Caiado 29% and Renan Santos (Mission) 27%.

Political preference

The survey also shows that 39% of Brazilians prefer the next president of the Republic to be Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, compared to 36% in the July 13 survey. Another 36% say they would like to see Flávio Bolsonaro elected, a candidate supported by former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) or a member of his family, in the previous sample it was 32%. According to the survey released today, 22% say they prefer a name that is not linked to either the PT member or the former head of the Executive, in the previous sample it was 27% - a drop of 5 percentage points. Whites, nulls and undecideds make up 1%. They don't know or didn't answer, 3%.

Nexus interviewed 2,004 interviewees, aged 16 and over, by telephone, from July 24th to 26th. The margin of error is 2 p.p., plus or minus, with a 95% confidence level. The research is registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under code BR-01489/2026.
