The weather forecast for this Wednesday (15), according to Climatempo, indicates that the weather will remain firm in much of the Center-South of Brazil, while areas of the North and Northeast remain at risk of heavy rain and storms.

The cold air mass loses strength in the South, favoring the rise in temperatures in the coming days, at the same time that an atmospheric blockage keeps instabilities away from the Southeast.

Check the weather forecast region by region:

South

This Wednesday, the weather remains stable in practically the entire South region due to the action of a mass of cold and dry air associated with a high pressure system in the ocean.

The cold air mass begins to lose intensity, while a strong flow of northerly winds (Low Level Jet) begins to transport warmer and more humid air coming from the north of the country to the South.

The weather remains firm in much of the region, with a predominance of sun and few clouds, and there is a possibility of light and isolated rain only on the coast of Paraná and Santa Catarina.

Dawn remains cold, with the possibility of isolated frost in Serra Catarinense, but temperatures rise more in the afternoon in much of the region compared to recent days.

From this day onwards, a change in the atmospheric pattern begins that favors above-average temperatures in the second half of the week.

Wind gusts vary between 50 and 70 km/h on the south coast of Santa Catarina.

Southeast

In the Southeast, the weather also remains stable across practically the entire region, under the influence of an area of high pressure in the ocean.

Furthermore, an atmospheric blockage begins to establish itself over the Atlantic, near the region's coast, keeping instabilities at bay and favoring a sequence of days of firm weather.

In the early hours of the day, there are conditions for frost in Serra da Mantiqueira.

During the afternoon, the sun predominates among few clouds and temperatures rise, mainly in the west and northwest of São Paulo, Triângulo Mineiro, north, northwest and west of Minas Gerais. In other areas, the day remains more pleasant.

On the coast of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo, there may still be greater cloudiness in the early hours of the day due to maritime humidity.

Relative air humidity decreases again during the afternoon, especially in the north of São Paulo, Triângulo Mineiro and north of Minas Gerais, with rates reaching between 20% and 30%.

The sea remains rough between the coast of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo.

Midwest

In the Central-West, the weather remains firm in most of the region, with a predominance of sun and high temperatures in the afternoon.

In Mato Grosso, the heat and availability of humidity may favor moderate to heavy showers in the northern part of the state throughout the day, but the other areas continue with firm weather.

Temperatures rise in the afternoon, while in the extreme south and southeast of Mato Grosso do Sul the day remains pleasant.

In the center-south of Goiás, north, east and southwest of Mato Grosso do Sul and southeast of Mato Grosso, relative air humidity remains low, with rates reaching between 20% and 30%.

Northeast

In the Northeast, the action of sea winds and the flow of moisture associated with the displacement of the cold front along the coast of Bahia continues to favor rain showers on the state's coast, between the region of Ilhéus and the north coast, in addition to the northeast of Bahia and areas of Sergipe, with moderate to heavy rain.

In Alagoas and on the coastal strip between Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Norte, instability is also increasing.

In Maranhão, Ceará and practically all of Piauí, rain showers also gain strength and can occur with moderate to strong intensity due to the convergence of winds at low levels, the flow of humidity and daytime heating.

There is a risk of storms in the central, western and eastern regions of Maranhão, on the coastal strip of Sergipe and on the southern coast of Alagoas.

In other areas of the northeastern interior, the weather remains firm, with a predominance of sun and high temperatures, while on the coast and central-east of Bahia the day should be more pleasant.

Wind gusts vary between 40 and 50 km/h in much of the region and can reach 70 km/h in the north of Bahia, center-west of Pernambuco and between the north coast of Bahia and the coastal strip of Alagoas.

The sea should be rough between the coast of Bahia, Sergipe and Alagoas.

North

In the North, the heat, the high availability of moisture and the circulation of winds at different levels of the atmosphere continue to favor the formation of areas of instability.

Rain showers are forecast in a large part of Amazonas, Pará, Roraima and the coast of Amapá, which may occur moderately to heavily.

In Acre, Rondônia, the extreme south of Amazonas, northern Pará and other areas of Amapá, rainfall occurs weakly.

In Tocantins, instabilities increase early in the morning and throughout the day due to the convergence of low-level winds, the flow of humidity and daytime heating. There is a risk of storms in the north of the state and east of Pará.

Temperatures rise in the afternoon and the weather remains muggy.
