Residents of Várzea Grande will be able to have free access to consultations, exams and dental procedures starting this Tuesday (15). The Commerce Social Service (Sesc-MT) started a health campaign that will continue until the beginning of August, offering services in the areas of dentistry, women's health and vision health.

The action is carried out at the Várzea Grande University Center, through the mobile units OdontoSesc, Sesc Saúde Mulher and Sesc Saúde Visão. The services will be carried out on a first-come, first-served basis, with the distribution of tickets.

Daily, 32 vouchers will be made available for dental care, 40 for mammography, 40 for preventive cervical examination (Pap smear) and 32 for visual acuity examinations.

At OdontoSesc, patients will have access to procedures such as restorations, simple extractions, cleaning, x-rays and referral for cases that require specialized care.

The Sesc Saúde Mulher unit will perform mammograms for women aged between 40 and 74 years old, or for patients with a medical request. The preventive cervical exam will be aimed at women between 18 and 64 years old or who have an active sexual life.

Another new feature is the service provided by Sesc Saúde Visão, which will carry out visual acuity tests on people over five years of age. When medically indicated, patients will receive glasses free of charge.

Exams such as mammography and Pap smears are considered essential for identifying breast cancer and cervical cancer early, increasing the chances of treatment.

Services will be held from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

To receive assistance, you must present a personal document. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
