The two people in the SUV died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the truck received medical attention, but his condition had not been reported until the publication of this report.
Still according to Rota do Oeste, the vehicles collided head-on. Upon impact, the utility vehicle was completely destroyed.
Due to the accident, BR-163 was completely closed for the rescue and vehicle removal teams to work.
