After around 30 years with the property, the couple, who were married 29 years ago, decided to try once again to find a buyer for the property.
The mansion was first announced in July 2021 for US$18.5 million, equivalent to approximately R$94.5 million. About two years later, it returned to the market for US$17 million, or approximately R$86.9 million.
Now, the sale is being handled exclusively by Jonas Heller and Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency.
The property has seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and one half bathroom. Originally built in 1911 by Dustin Farnum, the mansion was also previously owned by producer Mark Hellinger and actress and producer Gail Patrick.
"This is a truly rare opportunity to acquire one of the most important, historic and reserved properties in the Hollywood Hills. Properties of this caliber, with such a rich legacy and such a large plot of land, are rarely available", said Jonas Heller, according to "People" magazine.
Helen Mirren bought the house in the 1980s. The property was later restored by the actress and her husband and can now be passed on to new owners.
