"I didn't do it. You can't play Eunice Paiva and then end up saying: bet on it", he said about the character played in the film "I'm Still Here", winner of the Oscar for best foreign film in 2025.
The new season of Conversa will have programs once a week, always on Tuesdays.
"There's something difficult about these contracts: the more people lose, the more you win", said the actress about the bet advertisements. "It's something that when you hit it in the sky, it might cause problems."
The actress praised Selton Mello's performance in Walter Salles' film and said she believed it was his presence that moved Jennifer Lopez.
In an interview with the podcast "Films To Be Buried With", presented by Brett Goldstein, the American singer and actress spoke about the impact of film production on her life.
In Fernanda's opinion, her co-star understood the role of Rubens Paiva and had a solar presence in the film.
"It's an impressive thing," he said, remembering the scene in which the former deputy is taken away by the police and says goodbye to his family smiling.
The actress said that she often remembers her own father, also actor Fernando Torres, when she is about to appear on the stage in the show "A Casa dos Budas Ditosos", which she presented again.
"It's the time my father comes to me, at the theater."
Fernanda also spoke about her mother, Fernanda Montenegro's intense dedication to theater, and said that the veteran was abducted when she competed for an Oscar for her work in "Central do Brasil", in 1999.
According to her, her mother is from a generation that mixed life and theater. "When they were scared, they would leave," he said, quoting a quote from his brother, Cláudio Torres, about his parents' nights out to work on stage.
The actress and Bial remembered their marriage, when she was 17 years old.
"Pedro saved my life. He was very hot and I was more or less so. He didn't care, I couldn't believe it."
According to her, the two had "revivals" and ate the bread that the devil kneaded for each other, but today they relate as family.
