The former teacher, who is no longer part of the state education network, stated that he was available to the authorities to collaborate with the investigations, the Regional Education Center said in a statement.
"As this is an investigation conducted by the Civil Police, in a procedure that runs under judicial secrecy, any information about the case must be obtained from the responsible corporation", concluded the body.
According to the police, last Friday, the former teacher's house was the target of a search and seizure warrant. A cell phone, computer and flash drives were seized, which will undergo forensic examination.
Authorities stated that the investigation seeks to prove another possible crime related to child pornography.
