Boulos says that Flávio's vice-president is a 'perfect marriage of a crack girl with a secret budget'

"I thought it was fantastic that Flávio Bolsonaro chose Alfredo Gaspar as vice-president. I think it's a perfect marriage of the split and the secret budget. It's going to be a golden wedding", declared Boulos, when asked about the topic at a press conference after a meeting with trade union centers in São Paulo.

The split case involving Flávio refers to investigations into the embezzlement of advisors' salaries when he was a state deputy in the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro (Alerj). In relation to Gaspar, Boulos cited suspicions involving R$6 million in Pix amendments and an investigation related to an accusation of rape of a vulnerable person.

The minister highlighted, however, that the deputy has the right to the presumption of innocence.

Boulos also linked the choice of deputy to Flávio's isolation in the presidential dispute. "Maybe that was what was left. Flávio wasn't able to put together any party in his coalition, he wasn't able to put together plan A, which was Ciro Nogueira (PP); plan B, which was Tereza Cristina (PP); nor plan C, which was Michelle (Bolsonaro)", he said.

Questioned afterwards about the investigations involving the son of the President of the Republic, Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, Boulos stated that the opposition does not have the moral authority to explore the case and maintained that the federal government does not interfere in the work of the investigative bodies.

"When Fábio was cited, what was the president's speech? 'If my son owes something, let him pay.' The investigations did not take a step back because they reached the son of the President of the Republic", declared the minister.
