At one point, he stops and kicks his daughter, who falls to the ground. Seconds later, José approaches, opens his arms and tries to intervene, but is confronted by the man. In an interview with RPC, a TV Globo affiliate in Paraná, the personal trainer said he acted out of "a father's instinct" and the indignation he felt upon seeing the aggression. José saw the man attacking his daughter and went to the man to intervene. He was heard this Wednesday (8) and his name was not officially released. g1 tries to identify his defense. According to the delegate, the man appeared at the police station without a lawyer. In testimony, he cried and said he regretted what he did. Father is investigated for bodily injury Father is caught kicking three-year-old daughter, in Paraná An investigation has been opened and the man will be charged with the crime of bodily injury, according to police chief Anderson Andrei. After being interviewed, the man was not arrested because there was no act. The case reached the police on Tuesday (7), two days after the attack. In situations of bodily injury, the act is characterized when the crime is being committed or has just happened, therefore the possibility of arrest for being caught when the crime does not continue. The assault also began to be investigated based on a police report registered by the girl's mother, who only found out about the crime after seeing the images on social media. "Initially, now, the Civil Police's biggest concern was with the well-being of the child, how to guarantee the child's safety and formalize requests for urgent protective measures [...]", the delegate also said. The protective measures cited by the delegate are in favor of the girl, her brother and the mother who made the complaint. The Guardianship Council was also contacted and is monitoring the case.
