After assessment, he was immobilized on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Pilot - was still inside the plane and was attended to by SAMU. After being removed from the aircraft, he was placed on a rigid board and taken to the hospital. According to firefighters, he had a more serious clinical condition, with suspected traumatic brain injury. The hospitals did not release information about the current health status of the plane's occupants. Navegantes International Airport reported that the aircraft took off from Costa Esmeralda Airport, in Porto Belo, a city in Santa Catarina around 30 kilometers from the crash site. The destination was Bacacheri Airport, in Curitiba. Furthermore, the airport said in a statement that it activated the emergency response structure at 3:12 pm to respond to the accident. "All protocols foreseen for situations of this nature were promptly adopted, with the use of the necessary resources and the adoption of appropriate operational measures, in order to preserve safety standards and ensure the continuity of airport operations", informed the airport in a note. The Center for Research and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (Cenipa) informed in a note that it was called and will investigate the causes of the crash.
