'Unicamp de Portas Abertas' welcomes visitors with workshops and lectures this Saturday

The State University of Campinas (Unicamp) Neldo Cantanti / Unicamp The State University of Campinas (Unicamp) will be open for visitors this Saturday (21), from 9am to 5pm, in the 21st Edition of 'Open Doors'. The event is an opportunity for those who want to apply for a place at the institution, but are still not sure which course to choose. There, visitors will be able to learn, free of charge, about the operations and routine of different areas. It is not necessary to register to participate in the event. Visitors will be able to participate throughout the day in guided tours of Unicamp's faculties and institutes, visiting laboratories, research centers, libraries, projects and extension activities, as well as other spaces that make up university life. Lectures, workshops, conversation circles and fun activities will be offered on a variety of topics. The services offered by the university and its students will also be presented, as well as guidance on the Unicamp 2027 Entrance Exam and other access modalities. Anniversary edition This year's edition of Portas Abertas (UPA) is held in celebration of the university's 60th anniversary and brings new features. The event now has new points with refrigerated drinking fountains and six support tents with cell phone charging points and water distribution. Another new feature is the UPA Passport, a poster with information about the university that will be distributed to visitors. The poster has spaces where stickers must be placed and distributed in the support tents. The edition has a decompression room and exclusive parking for people with disabilities behind the Cesar Lattes Central Library.
