The investigation indicates that Grêmio fans went to the region where members of the Popular Guard, Internacional's organized fans, were gathered in the Costa e Silva neighborhood. Upon realizing that they were outnumbered, the Grêmio supporters tried to leave the area. They got into vehicles and left quickly. However, one of the fans was unable to escape. According to the delegate, the case arose from a conflict between members of the two fans. "When they arrived at the scene, the conflict began. According to the police, the man has physical limitations and is currently unable to work or leave the house. What was found in the operation During the execution of 11 preventive arrest warrants and 23 search and seizure warrants, the police collected clothes that would have been used by those under investigation, as well as weapons, ammunition and drugs. In one of the residences, items of clothing were found that, according to the police, belonged to the victim and were the same ones worn on the day of the attacks.
