The president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), minister Kassio Nunes Marques, ordered this Thursday (13) the opening of an investigation to determine the affiliation of senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, to the Mission.

The measure was taken after the publication of journalistic articles reporting that the campaign team was unable to formalize the candidacy in the TSE system due to affiliation with the other party. The deadline ends next Saturday (15).

On social media, Flávio Bolsonaro stated that the Mission membership registration was “fraud”.

In a statement, the TSE denied that the inclusion of the senator's name occurred through hacking of the Court's system and said that there was "improper use" of the tool.

Furthermore, the court reported that the president of the Court called the Electoral Public Ministry and ordered the opening of an internal investigation.

"The Superior Electoral Court informs that Flávio Bolsonaro's affiliation with the Missão party was not the result of hacking of the party affiliation system, but rather the misuse of the tool by someone who had the party's credentials to make affiliations", declared the TSE.

After the repercussion of the case, the PL approached the TSE with a request to disaffiliate from Missão. The request is already being analyzed by the court.

The Mission stated that it detected the undue affiliation, but was unable to cancel the act in the TSE system.

"The Missão Party is publicly reporting that it was the victim of an attempted fraudulent membership by Flávio Bolsonaro. Our system, upon noticing the fraud, attempted to cancel the membership on the same day, an action that was rejected by the TSE," the party declared.
