In a statement, the TRT deeply regretted the death of the employee, who joined the institution on October 18, 2012. Born in Florianópolis (SC), Naila began her career at the Nova Mutum Labor Court, where she worked until 2023.

According to the Fire Department, one of the cars involved was completely destroyed by the flames. Inside the vehicle, the military found a charred victim. In the other car, three people were trapped in the wreckage and had no vital signs when rescue teams arrived at the scene.
Images of the incident show that one of the vehicles ended up in a vertical position after the impact of the collision, highlighting the violence of the accident. The Civil Police and Politec are investigating the circumstances and causes of the accident.
