Transparency Project ends after week showing behind the scenes of journalistic production The Transparency Project, from RBS TV, ended a week of activities showing, in practice, the stages of journalistic production. During the meetings, participants followed everything from the choice of agendas to the exhibition of reports, including investigation, behind-the-scenes television, technology, live entries and debates. The proposal was to bring the public closer to the newsroom's routine and show how news is constructed before reaching TV and digital platforms. Throughout the week, guests visited different areas involved in the production of news programs and followed the work of journalists, technicians and support teams. ? The experience also included monitoring the production of a story, showing the path between choosing the topic, investigating and preparing the content for the public. On the second day, the project presented the criteria used to select the topics that will be aired and the step-by-step process of journalistic investigation. Guests were able to learn about how information is checked, organized and transformed into reporting. The programming also covered behind-the-scenes television areas. Participants learned about sectors such as costume design, lighting, finance and makeup, in addition to following the dynamics of production during the broadcast of the news programs. The visit showed the participation of different professionals in the routine necessary to put the programs on air. Another point discussed was the technology used in the production and exhibition of RBS TV journalism. The guests learned about structures that allow transmissions from different locations and understood how anchoring done outside the studio works. Live coverage was also the theme of the week. During the activity, participants watched how reporters' entries were organized in real time. Behind each live participation, there is planning, connection between teams and technical support to ensure that the information reaches the public at the right time. The closing also included a debate held on Jornal do Almoço, accompanied by 15 guests. The conversation brought together representatives from the Regional Electoral Court, the Riograndense Press Association and experts in political science.
