Civil Police of Rondônia - Draco Civil Police/Disclosure Rondônia has only 28.1% of the number of civil police officers that the law determines as necessary, which places the state with the largest deficit in the country. The data comes from the Security Forces X-Ray study, published by the Brazilian Public Security Forum (FBSP) this Tuesday (4). Currently, there are 1,500 agents in the Civil Police of Rondônia, when there should be 5,300, generating a deficit of more than 70%. Considering the territorial area of ??the state, there is only one civil police officer for every 158 km². ?The staff deficit is not exclusive to the Civil Police, although it is more pronounced there. In Rondônia, the Criminal Police operates with just 35.8% of the expected staff. The Military Police has a higher occupancy rate of 57.4%, but still lacks almost half of the vacancies that should be filled. ? The study takes into account data reported by the state public security secretariats of the 26 states and the Federal District.
