Federal University of Rondônia Jheniffer Núbia/Rede Amazônica In an unprecedented decision, the Federal University of Rondônia (Unir) will start using the Unified Selection System (Sisu) to enroll students. The modality will be valid from 2027 for new courses announced by the institution. Until then, Unir was one of the few federal universities in the country not to join Sisu. The new modality meets a requirement from the Ministry of Education (MEC) for the Transforming Universities program. The traditional selection process remains valid for existing courses. The institution, which has historically carried out its selections independently through its own notices, confirmed that eight undergraduate courses offered from 2027 onwards will have their vacancies filled exclusively through the federal government's unified platform.
