The research was carried out at 40 gas stations spread across all areas of the capital. The prices of regular gasoline, premium gasoline, hydrated ethanol, S500 diesel and S10 diesel were researched. "Access to reliable information about prices charged in the city strengthens the consumer's right to information and encourages a more active stance in the search for the best purchasing conditions. In both cases, the lowest price remained at R$6.99, unchanged from the previous month.

The S500 diesel had prices between R$6.99 and R$7.39, maintaining the lowest price recorded in June. The S10 diesel ranged between R$6.89 and R$7.59. The lowest fuel price fell from R$6.99 to R$6.89, a reduction of 1.43% in the monthly comparison. Ethanol was sold between R$4.89 and R$5.29, maintaining the same price range recorded in the previous survey. According to Procon Manaus, publishing the survey allows consumers to compare prices charged in different regions of the city and choose the stations with the lowest prices. The survey also serves as a basis for the agency’s inspection actions.
