PM finds clandestine dismantling and recovers four stolen vehicles in Itaquaquecetuba

Stolen vehicles were recovered by the PM in Itaquaquecetuba Disclosure/Military Police Four vehicles registered as stolen were recovered in a property identified by the Military Police as a clandestine dismantlement this Friday (7), in Itaquaquecetuba. A suspect identified as responsible for the location and other people were taken to the police station. According to the PM, police officers were patrolling when they saw a car speeding. Upon noticing the vehicle approaching, the driver entered the garage of a property on Estrada da Animação. ? During the investigation, the team identified that the car had been reported stolen. According to the police, people who were in the property fled through the back and jumped over a wall. During the follow-up attempt, a Rottweiler dog was released against the police, who were unable to continue the chase. Other teams were called to search the region. At the property, the police found three other vehicles that had been reported stolen. One of them was partially dismantled, another had been completely dismantled and, of the third, the carcass was located.

Automotive parts, engines, mechanical components, tools and equipment used to disassemble vehicles were also found. The property had security cameras in the internal and external areas. Suspects located According to the PM, a report made by telephone 190 indicated who was responsible for the dismantling and reported that he had fled through a forested area before leaving the region in a car with other people. During the searches, police used images from security cameras and license plate reading systems. The vehicle mentioned in the complaint was located on the border between Itaquaquecetuba and Poá. During the approach, the police found automotive parts and a notebook with notes that, according to the incident, were related to the sale of parts. The man identified as responsible for the dismantling and other people who were in the vehicle were taken to the police station. The PM did not say how many people were taken away or whether they remained detained. The incident was initially reported at the 1st Police District of Itaquaquecetuba. Afterwards, the suspect identified as responsible for the property was taken to the city's Central Police District. The vehicles, parts and other objects found were presented to the Civil Police. The property was preserved for forensic examination. According to the Military Police, the incident was recorded as vehicle dismantling, reception, criminal association and tampering with a motor vehicle identification sign.
