Operation against faction fulfills 14 warrants in Governador Valadares Federal Police/Disclosure The Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime in Minas Gerais (FICCO/MG) launched, on the morning of this Wednesday (15), an operation against a criminal organization with interstate operations. In Governador Valadares, 14 of the 17 search and seizure warrants issued by the courts were executed, in addition to two preventive arrest warrants. According to FICCO, Operation Red Flag investigates a group suspected of involvement in drug trafficking, the illegal trade of firearms and ammunition, homicides and other violent crimes. ? The two preventive arrest warrants served in Governador Valadares targeted people who were already in prison. During the operation, drugs and cell phones were seized. Investigations continue to clarify the facts and identify other possible parties involved. FICCO/MG is coordinated by the Federal Police and brings together members of the Civil Police of Minas Gerais, the Military Police of Minas Gerais, the Penal Police of Minas Gerais and the National Secretariat for Penal Policies (Senappen).
