He also declared to the police that he returned home after the ride. According to investigators, however, images show that the businesswoman's truck passed through Estrada do Pasto Grande and headed towards Paraty (RJ), contradicting the statement. During the execution of the warrants, the vehicle was found with repair marks compatible with damage caused by gunshots. Police also seized three registered weapons and two cell phones from the suspect's home. Berenice disappeared on June 30, after leaving the restaurant where she worked. Until the publication of this report, she had not been located. The defense of Berenice's boss was contacted by g1, but said she will only speak out after having access to the process.
