Manaus will have its first gastronomic street in the Center, city hall announces

Rua Ferreira Pena, in the Center of Manaus Reproduction/Social Networks The City of Manaus announced, this Thursday (6), the creation of the first gastronomic street in the capital. The space will be located on Ferreira Pena Street, between 10 de Julho and Ramos Ferreira streets, in the city center, where municipal management also authorized the beginning of urban requalification works. According to the city hall, the location was chosen because the street already has bars, restaurants and other nightlife establishments. The proposal is to transform the stretch into a gastronomic and tourist corridor, within the actions of the " Nosso Centro " program. According to the municipality, the works include the renovation of sidewalks, new paving, installation of street furniture, landscaping and improvements to public lighting. The project also foresees changes to increase accessibility and facilitate pedestrian circulation. ? On the occasion, Mayor Renato Junior (Avante) stated that the initiative is part of the revitalization actions in the center of the capital.
