Volta Redonda Police Station, RJ Lucas Mathias/g1 A 30-year-old man was found dead on Friday night (10) in Volta Redonda (RJ). The case took place on the banks of the Lúcio Meira Highway (BR-393), near Trevo do Pinheirão, in the Três Poços neighborhood. According to the Military Police, the agents were called by the Integrated Center for Public Security Operations (Ciosp) to verify an occurrence of bodily injury, after information that there was an injured person lying near the scene. Upon arriving at the scene, the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) team informed the police that the victim was already dead. According to the PM, the man had at least one puncture wound caused by a gunshot to the chest region. The body was removed and taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML). Civil Police experts were at the crime scene to gather information that could help with the investigation. The case was registered with intentional homicide at the Volta Redonda police station.
