The first major renovation of the AMAE II sports complex in more than ten years brings a new court with high-adhesion and durable epoxy flooring Tupã City Hall/Disclosure The Tupã City Council is carrying out the renovation and revitalization of the AMAE II gymnasium (Municipal Sports Academy), one of the city's main sports venues. This is the first major renovation carried out at the site in more than 10 years. The improvements include painting services, restoration of the structure, installation of epoxy flooring on the court and other adjustments that will provide better conditions for sports. The epoxy coating offers greater resistance to wear, a uniform finish, ease of cleaning and better grip, contributing to the safety of athletes and the durability of the court. Initially, the space is being prepared to host part of the Regional Games competitions. After the event, the gym will continue to be available to the population, offering more comfort, safety and quality for students and attendees. AMAE II has courts for volleyball, basketball and futsal, as well as a football field and a room for rhythmic gymnastics and dance classes. Free of charge, the space serves children, teenagers and adults in various sports and leisure activities. Mayor Renan Pontelli highlighted that the reform represents an investment both in holding the Regional Games and in strengthening sport in the municipality. "We are preparing AMAE II to host an important regional competition, but the greatest legacy of this work will be for the population. After the Regional Games, those who use the space daily will have a completely revitalized, safer and more suitable environment for practicing sports. It was a structure that had not undergone renovation for over 10 years and is now once again receiving the necessary investments to continue serving our athletes and encouraging the practice of sports", he stated.
