Araraquara advances in reducing bureaucracy and wins Bronze Seal at Facilita SP

Araraquara was recognized by the Government of the State of São Paulo with the Bronze Seal of the Facilita SP Municípios program, an initiative that rewards cities that advance in administrative modernization and improving the business environment. The certification ceremony took place last Thursday (2), in the capital of São Paulo. The certification is the result of consistent work to review processes, simplify standards and integrate systems, promoting greater agility and security in the business environment. The achievement highlights the efforts of the Municipal Department of Economic Development, which has been conducting strategic actions to make Araraquara a more agile, modern and attractive city for investment, with direct impacts on the generation of jobs and income. The Bronze Seal confirms that Araraquara is advancing in reducing bureaucracy, with concrete actions to simplify processes and make economic activities more agile. This recognition reflects a more modern, efficient management committed to improving the business environment in the city. The Facilita SP program aims to transform the state of São Paulo into the main hub of economic freedom in the country, making it more competitive and attractive for investments, in addition to stimulating economic growth and the generation of jobs and income. The initiative seeks to make life easier for businesspeople and entrepreneurs, both those who want to open a new business and those who already operate in the market and need to obtain licenses and operating permits. To this end, the program establishes criteria for the risk classification of economic activities, categorizing them according to their potential impact. Currently, the State has 929 activities classified as low risk, exempt from issuing licenses and permits to begin operations. With this simplification, Facilita SP provides more agile, integrated and predictable processes, reducing bureaucracy and offering more security to entrepreneurs. The Bronze Seal recognizes municipalities that, in addition to adhering to the policy, implemented automated location viability. With the solution, the entrepreneur can check, in up to three minutes and completely digitally, whether the economic activity can be carried out at the chosen address.
