According to the Transport Agency of the State of São Paulo (Artesp), one of the victims had serious injuries and was rescued by the Águia helicopter to the Hospital de Clínicas (HC) at Unicamp. The accident happened around 10:20 am, near the railway viaduct. One of the trucks was stopped on the side of the road when another truck crashed. Due to the collision, gallons of drink fell onto the road and hit a car that was following behind, and the driver reported that he was unable to brake in time. The car suffered damage to the front bumper. Two people were injured. One had minor injuries, while the other, who was in one of the trucks, had serious injuries and had to be rescued by the Águia helicopter to Unicamp's HC — the hospital did not disclose her health status until the last update of this article.
