He worked at the National Foundation of Indigenous Peoples (Funai) and participated in actions to protect indigenous territories. In 1992, he founded the Kanindé Association, focused on socio-environmental defense. In 2024, she ran for a councilor seat in Porto Velho, but was not elected. Sílvia Cristina (União Brasil) Federal deputy Silvia Cristina takes office this Wednesday (1st) Reproduction/Federal Chamber Silvia Cristina Amancio Chagas was born in Linhares (ES), is 52 years old and is a journalist and teacher. She moved to Rondônia in 2003. She entered politics in 2012, when she was elected councilor in Ji-Paraná. In 2018, she was elected federal deputy, becoming the first black woman to hold the position in the state. He currently holds a mandate in the Chamber of Deputies.
