Cherry trees transform the scene marked by the tragedy in Teresópolis This Saturday (4), residents of Posse, in Teresópolis, Serrana Region of Rio, participate in the second Community Meeting and Coffee to celebrate the beginning of the cherry blossoms. "I wanted to bring a little joy to the neighborhood and to the residents, to make up for everything we lost in the tragedy. I'm happy to see the trees blooming today and my neighbors celebrating", said Walter. The president of the Posse Residents Association, Marcia Peixoto, spoke about the importance of this initiative for the city's memory. “This flowering is a time to renew hope, but also to remember everything we have been through, as a lesson to preserve nature and our history”, highlighted Márcia. The second edition of the breakfast brought together residents and visitors, who took the opportunity to take photos of the trees.
