Science, technology and art: Unicamp promotes free fair with the participation of Atila Iamarino

Atíla Lamarino is one of the guests at the free science, technology and art event promoted by Unicamp Reproduction The State University of Campinas (Unicamp) promotes, on the 19th and 20th of September, the InterCOCEN Fair, with a program that brings together workshops, exhibitions, scientific demonstrations and cultural attractions. Among the highlights is the participation of biologist and scientific popularizer Atila Iamarino. The fair takes place from 9am to 4pm at the Events Center of the Municipal Department of Education (SME), in Jardim do Vovô, and is part of the celebrations of Unicamp's 60th anniversary. During the two days, the public will be able to learn about projects developed by university researchers and participate in interactive experiences in areas such as climate change, biodiversity, nanotechnology, nutrition, biomedical engineering, digital arts and music. In addition to scientific activities, the event will feature performances by musical groups from Unicamp, guest artists and students from Colégio Técnico de Limeira (Cotil). On Sunday, at 10am, Atila Iamarino will give a talk on how to be informed in times of misinformation. ? The proposal is to bring the population closer to the university's scientific production and show how science contributes to facing everyday challenges. In 2025, when it was held for the first time, the fair received more than a thousand visitors according to the organization.
