Scams use Transpetro contest: fake websites charge for registration and steal candidate data

They are inappropriately using the name, brand and visual elements of the institution with the aim of obtaining personal data and charging registration fees. Fraudulent pages may have a similar appearance to official channels, including logo, colors, images and visual structure, making them difficult to identify. According to the Cesgranrio Foundation, the main way to verify the authenticity of a page is to carefully check the email address accessed. How to check if the website is secure Before providing personal data, making any payment or registering, the Foundation recommends that the candidate: Carefully check the email address displayed in the browser; Check if the page uses HTTPS (a feature that encrypts the connection, making it secure); Note the security lock icon displayed by the browser; Click on the padlock and check the security certificate information, checking if it corresponds to the official domain; Avoid accessing registration pages through links received via WhatsApp, SMS, email or sponsored advertisements. In case of doubt about the authenticity of a page, the advice is not to provide personal data, not to provide passwords and not to make payments until the legitimacy of the site is confirmed through the institution's official channels. Transpetro, a Petrobras transport company, published this Wednesday (12), in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), the notices for its new public tender. In total, 281 immediate vacancies are offered, in addition to 3,890 for reserve registration, totaling 4,171 opportunities, distributed among 61 positions and emphases of land and sea staff. Transpetro publishes competition notices with 4,171 vacancies and salaries of up to R$15 thousand; see how to participate The opportunities include professionals at secondary, technical and higher education levels, with guaranteed minimum salaries ranging from R$5,464 to R$15,034.81, in addition to benefits such as supplementary pension, educational benefit and health plan. In total, four notices were published. For the land staff, there is a selection process for mid/technical level positions and another for higher level positions. As for the sea staff, one notice is intended for officers and another for non-commissioned officers and garrison. Candidates for opportunities on the sea board will undergo objective tests, a physical aptitude exam and, when applicable, procedures to confirm the conditions declared to compete for the reserved vacancies. For land staff positions, there will be no physical fitness exam.
