Since June 2024, on an indefinite professional break to retrain and seek inspiration for future musical projects, Sandy interrupts the hiatus to promote the release of a recording made in the studio with Italian singer Laura Pausini. In rotation since tonight, Thursday, August 6th, the single “ Quando chove ” features an unreleased recording of the Portuguese version of an Italian song by singer and composer Pino Daniele (1955 – 2015), “Quanno chiove”, released in 1980 in the voice of Daniele himself. It is the same version in Portuguese written by Nelson Motta and presented to Brazil in 1994 in a recording by singer Patricia Marx broadcast on the soundtrack of the soap opera “A Viagem”, shown on TV Globo in that year 1994. Sandy's feat with Laura Pausini generated a clip recorded in Milan under the direction of Leandro Manuel Emede. Emphasizing that “ Quando chove ” is a song from the affective memory of adolescence, the Brazilian singer went to the Italian city just to record the clip with Pausini.
