Second round simulations The institute also presented interviewees with three possible scenarios for a possible second round.
In the first simulation, between Wellington Fagundes and Otaviano Pivetta, the senator appears with 45% of voting intentions, while the governor has 32%. In this scenario, 12% said they would vote blank or cancel the vote, and 11% did not know or did not respond.
In a possible dispute between Wellington Fagundes and Natasha Slhessarenko, the parliamentarian increases his advantage and reaches 52% of the electorate's preference, against 26% for the doctor. Blank and invalid votes total 11%, the same percentage as undecided votes.
In the event of a confrontation between Otaviano Pivetta and Natasha Slhessarenko, the current governor appears ahead, with 42% of voting intentions, while the PSD candidate registers 30%. In this scenario, both blank and invalid votes and respondents who were unable to respond represent 14% each.
Methodology The Real Time Big Data survey interviewed 1,600 voters in Mato Grosso between the 7th and 11th of August. The survey has a margin of error of two percentage points, plus or minus, and a confidence level of 95%.
