Program strengthens training for managers of public Early Childhood Education in Botucatu

Managers from the Botucatu municipal network participated in the launch event of the Lampiar Pré-Escola Program, an initiative by Ensina Brasil and the Bracell Foundation Bracell/Disclosure Training managers is one of the strategies to strengthen the quality of Early Childhood Education and support schools in building practices that are increasingly aligned with children's needs. In Botucatu (SP), directors of the municipal network have access to a professional development journey through Lampiar Pré-Escola, an initiative by Ensina Brasil and Fundação Bracell, in partnership with the Municipal Department of Education. Aimed at developing school leaders, the program combines training, practical monitoring and exchange of experiences to support managers in improving management, mobilizing teams and qualifying pedagogical practices. The first group brings together 48 professionals from the municipal network and will work for six months. The initiative was launched at the end of July and is based on the understanding that the work of school leaders plays an important role in creating environments favorable to children's learning and development. By strengthening managers, the program seeks to support changes that can be incorporated into the daily lives of schools and shared with the entire school community. During the journey, participants will have face-to-face and online meetings, support for the implementation of projects in schools and activities aimed at exchanging experiences and integrated training. According to the municipal secretary of Education, Gilberto Mariotto Peres, the program contributes to strengthening the performance of school leaders and reaffirms the municipality's commitment to education that puts people at the center of decisions. "We have objectives and goals to achieve, but what we can never lose sight of is that, behind each goal, there are people. There are lives, stories, challenges and difficulties.
