The suspicion is that the boy was hit in the face with a belt or a piece of wood. Evidence of other attacks was highlighted by the police in the father's request for preventive detention, which was granted by the courts this Thursday (9). He was subsequently arrested. This entire context was brought to the attention of the Public Ministry, the Judiciary and the arrest warrant was formally issued", explained delegate Ricardo Moraes, in a press conference this Thursday. On Wednesday (8), he was interviewed by the Civil Police. RPC, a TV Globo affiliate in Paraná, found that he claimed, in his statement, to have kicked because the child was crying. Because there was no incident, the man was not arrested at that time.
