Polar air and 70 km/h winds should mark the day; check the forecast

The extratropical cyclone that was acting over the south of the country should move away towards the ocean, but the polar air is advancing over the region and also affecting areas of the Southeast and Central-West. Follow:

South

The extratropical cyclone moves away to the high seas and polar air advances, reducing temperatures in the three states. In Rio Grande do Sul, instability decreases, but there is still light to moderate rain in the north, coast and south, with greater intensity in the coastal strip, in addition to rain in the south and interior of Santa Catarina. According to Climatempo, wind gusts between 50 and 70 km/h hit central-eastern Santa Catarina and Paraná, as well as the north and middle coasts of Rio Grande do Sul. Temperatures are mild and there is a chance of frost in the morning in Campanha and southwest Rio Grande do Sul.

Southeast

The cold front advances through São Paulo, with moderate to heavy rain between late morning and afternoon on the North Coast, Baixada Santista and eastern São Paulo, in addition to gusts approaching 70 km/h. Inland, winds can raise dust, while polar air reduces temperatures in the west and center-south of São Paulo. In the extreme south and Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais, it can also rain. According to Climatempo, in Rio de Janeiro, moderate to heavy rain arrives mainly at night along the Costa Verde, south of Rio de Janeiro, the Metropolitan Region and the Mountain Region, with winds between 70 and 90 km/h. In other areas, the weather remains firm.

Midwest

The polar air mass maintains lower temperatures in Mato Grosso do Sul and reaches the extreme south and southwest of Mato Grosso and the extreme south of Goiás. In the west and northwest of Mato Grosso do Sul, the extreme southwest of Mato Grosso and points in the south of Goiás, rain showers may occur. In the rest of the Region, the weather remains firmer, with low humidity in the northern half of Goiás and the north and east of Mato Grosso, reaching 12% to 20% in the north of Goiás and the Federal District.

Northeast

The instability decreases on the east coast, but it may still rain locally on the coast of Maranhão. According to Climatempo, in the interior of the Northeast, heat, dry weather and low humidity remain, while the north coast continues to experience more persistent winds.

North

The instability is concentrated in the north and west of Amazonas, Roraima and Acre, with moderate to heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms. In Amapá and the northwest and coast of Pará, there are also stronger showers. In other areas, the weather remains firm, with low humidity in Tocantins and southern Pará.
