According to the MTE (Ministry of Labor and Employment), R$5.2 billion are being released in this batch. At Banco do Brasil, Pasep is deposited into customers' bank accounts automatically. Those who are not account holders can receive payments via TED, Pix or face-to-face service at branches, if they do not have a registered Pix key.

In a specific decision by the Federal Court, the MTE also brought forward to this Wednesday the payment of the bonus to workers residing in Juiz de Fora, Ubá and Matias Barbosa (MG), municipalities affected by a public calamity.

HOW IS PIS PAYMENT MADE?
PIS is paid by Caixa Econômica Federal to private sector workers. Anyone who has a checking or savings account at Caixa receives credit automatically. Workers without an account will be able to withdraw funds at branches, lotteries, ATMs and Caixa Aqui correspondents.
HOW DOES PASEP PAYMENT WORK?
Pasep is paid by Banco do Brasil to public servants. Bank customers receive the amount directly into their account. Those who do not have an account must look for a Banco do Brasil branch to withdraw the benefit, bringing an identification document with a photo.
