This weekend the Orchid Exhibition takes place, a free event that will bring together thousands of flowers, rare and hybrid species, as well as options for those who want to start or expand their collection. In total, there will be more than 10 thousand plants available for appreciation and sale directly with producers, at affordable prices, and a wide variety of orchids, including specimens aimed at collectors. The public will also find ornamental plants for balconies and gardens, as well as growing materials such as pots, substrates, fertilizers and gardening accessories. The exhibition will feature ten specialized exhibitors, offering visitors the opportunity to receive guidance from those who cultivate. During the two-day event, experienced orchid growers will be available to answer questions about cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, replanting and the care necessary to keep plants healthy and flowering. In addition to the area dedicated to orchids, the program will have a space dedicated to selling handicrafts and food options, making the tour a leisure alternative for the whole family. The Orchid Exhibition is held through a partnership between Sumaré Flora Festa and Orquipira (Associação Orquidófila Piracicabana). The event takes place at Engenho Central (Galpão 9), on July 11th, Saturday, from 9am to 6pm, and on the 12th, Sunday, from 9am to 5pm.
