Registration is free and can be done until July 31st. To participate, you must be registered in the Municipal Social Housing Register, available on the city hall website (click here). Families that already have a registration do not need to register again, but must update their registration data. According to the city hall, anyone who has lost their password to access the system can request it to be recovered. The reset link will be sent by email, but receipt may take a few hours due to the high volume of hits. The requirements to participate in the selection include: being registered in the Municipal Social Housing Register; have an active and updated Single Registry (CadÚnico) before the publication of the notice; reside in Petrolina for at least two years; be 18 years of age or over, or be emancipated; have a gross family income of up to R$3,200; and be the family responsible registered with CadÚnico. Petrolina City Hall informed that the entire process is free and warned that any charge for registration, intermediation or guaranteeing a place is illegal.
