Case of Corporal César completes six months without answers Six months after the disappearance of Corporal José César, from the Paraíba Military Police, the case continues without an answer regarding the police officer's whereabouts. He was last seen after leaving home, in João Pessoa, during the early hours of the morning. Since then, family members, co-workers and the police have been trying to find out what happened. According to an investigation by TV Cabo Branco, until this Wednesday (12), there was no conclusion to the investigation. The investigation is led by delegate Héctor Azevedo, working with the João Pessoa Homicide Police Station. The police officer, who worked at the Military Police Museum, located in the center of the capital, left home informing his wife that he was going to work. According to him, the Capital Homicide Police Station carried out several investigations, requested expert examinations, collected statements and made representations to the Judiciary to assist in the investigation. “There are still pending analyzes and, only at the end of all the investigative work, will it be possible to assess what actually happened, possibly indicating authorship, motivation and circumstances”, stated Cristiano Santana. The superintendent also highlighted that no line of investigation has been ruled out. The Civil Police's expectation is to gather all the elements before reaching a conclusion about the disappearance. Cell phone was found During the investigation, the police located Corporal César's cell phone. The device was broken and was considered a possible source of information to clarify the disappearance. The expectation was that the phone could be examined and that conversations or other data would help identify the police officer's last steps. To date, however, no information has been released that conclusively indicates what happened to him. The police officer's wife, family members and co-workers have already been interviewed by the investigation.
