Praia dos Buritis will host sports tournaments, while the beaches of Graciosa, Arnos and Caju are home to musical, recreational and leisure attractions. The sports program will be coordinated by the Municipal Department of Youth and Sports. According to Palmas City Hall, the program was prepared in conjunction with the trade associations of each beach, with the aim of attracting visitors, boosting the local economy and enhancing the capital's urban beaches during the holiday period. Guidelines for bathers To reinforce the safety of beachgoers, the city hall informed that it will install new signage on the capital's beaches, following guidelines from the Tocantins Military Fire Department.
