The 11th Subsection of Itaperuna and Laje do Muriaé received a motion for recognition for the six decades of services provided to the legal profession. The tribute was given by the president of OAB-RJ, Ana Tereza Basilio, to the president of the subsection, Claudia Tostes. In addition to Itaperuna, the subsections of Barra do Piraí, Barra Mansa, Campos dos Goytacazes, Duque de Caxias, Miracema, Nova Friburgo, Nova Iguaçu, Petrópolis, São Gonçalo, Teresópolis, Valença and Volta Redonda were also honored. Upon receiving the honor, Claudia Tostes highlighted the subsection's trajectory and thanked the work of boards, advisors, commissions and former presidents who contributed to the entity's history. "It is an honor to represent the 11th Subsection and contribute to this special history", he stated. According to the president, the subsection is also working to implement, in Itaperuna, the first Law Club in the State of Rio de Janeiro, an initiative aimed at strengthening the class in the region. The XIII State Advocacy Conference brings together lawyers and law students registered with the OAB-RJ. The program includes lectures, panels and debates on topics related to the practice of law, as well as spaces dedicated to innovation and young lawyers. During the opening of the event, Ana Tereza Basilio highlighted the importance of professional qualification and the appreciation of law.
