Cameras capture one of the cars involved in a high-speed accident A 50-year-old motorcyclist died after being involved in an accident at Vicinal Danilo Gonçalves, in Avencas, district of Marília (SP), on Sunday night (16). According to information from the Civil Police, the man had crashed into a car. The impact resulted in the motorcycle being destroyed and the death was confirmed at the scene. ? According to the investigation, a 44-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, who were in the car, sought an Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in the South Zone with injuries. The driver said he was heading in the direction of Marília and that the motorcycle had entered the opposite lane. The version will still be compared with forensics and other evidence. The result will be analyzed together with other elements of the investigation. The police emphasize, however, that this classification is provisional and depends on the progress of the investigations. The driver was arrested red handed and provisionally indicated. The Civil Police also asked the Court to convert the prison into preventive detention. The request will still be analyzed by the Judiciary. The investigation continues with examinations of the vehicles, analysis of images, identification of other cars, as well as examinations and witness statements.
