Model and miss dies at age 25 on her own birthday

The death was announced on social media by Miss Grand Indonesia, a contest in which the young woman had won second place in 2025.

“With deep sadness, the Miss Grand Indonesia Organization regrets the passing of Putri Andriani Juficha, runner-up of Miss Grand Indonesia 2025,” the organization said.

In the tribute, the organization also stated that Putri was more than a title holder and highlighted her “grace, strength and spirit”, in addition to offering condolences to her family and those close to her.

Who was Putri Andriani Juficha?

Putri gained national recognition when competing in Miss Grand Indonesia 2025, representing North Sulawesi. She finished the competition as second runner-up and was later awarded the title of Miss Earth Indonesia 2025, going on to represent the country in the international Miss Earth pageant.

Outside of the catwalk, the young woman also invested in her studies. Putri graduated in Communication from the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business in Jakarta in 2022. He later went on to study Law.
