Set in contemporary Rio de Janeiro, the story revolves around the powerful and influential Werneck family, led by its obsessive patriarch, played by Alexandre Nero. The group's facade of perfection crumbles when the youngest, Maria Cecília (Alanis Guillen), unleashes a wave of crimes, lies and blackmail when trying to make her fantasies come true. The cast will feature names such as Enrique Díaz, Eduardo Sterblitch, Carol Garcia, Larissa Bocchino and Juliano Floss. Among the works by Nelson Rodrigues that will be used as references are: "Otto Lara Resende ou Bonitinha, Mas Ordinária", "A Mulher Sem Pecado", "Toda Nudez Will Be Punished" and "Os Sete Gatinhos".
