Managers also highlighted the importance of decisions during the assembly. The mayor of Chapada dos Guimarães, Osmar Froner, emphasized the union between the municipalities. "In this assembly, municipalism prevailed. The union strengthens AMM, which provides essential services to municipalities, offering technical support, project development and political and administrative representation", he stated.
The mayor of Barão de Melgaço, Margareth Gonçalves, highlighted the democratic conduct of the work. "We held the necessary discussions about AMM and the municipalities. The adjustments to the statute were important and the entire process took place in a democratic manner, always seeking to strengthen the association", he highlighted.
AMM, which will celebrate its 44th anniversary in May 2027, is a reference in the defense of municipalism in Mato Grosso. The institution provides technical support to city halls, develops projects, assists city halls in various areas of public administration and acts in the political representation of municipalities before the state and federal governments.
