The woman asked family members for help after the attacks and death threats, on Tuesday (14), in the town of Água Amarela de Cima. When they tried to take her to the police station, the suspect hit the car they were in and caused it to roll over.

The suspect was located on Wednesday night (15), after being seen on a federal highway near the Contenda interchange. A family member of his was also arrested, accused of helping him escape and resisting police approach.
Police officers found .38 caliber ammunition with the suspect in the attacks. The Judiciary Police investigates the case and listens to those involved and witnesses to conclude the investigation.
