Rock Day takes on a new atmosphere at Jockey Plaza Shopping in 2026. On Sunday, July 12, the mall promotes another edition of Jockey Plaza Rock, this time with the theme “Garage Rock”, inspired by the raw, authentic and attitude-filled aesthetic of bands that began their journeys in garages before conquering big stages. The program will take place from 12pm to 8pm, in the white sector of the G1 car park, in a covered area that will be transformed to welcome families, music fans and lovers of the rock’n’roll universe. Free and already traditional on the shopping calendar, the event brings together live music, interactive experiences, gastronomy and attractions for all ages. "Jockey Plaza Rock has already become a long-awaited date for our audience, because it combines music, fun and experiences for the whole family. This year, the change of space inspired us to create an even more immersive edition, rescuing the spirit of the bands that started unpretentiously, in garages, but with a lot of personality and passion for music. We want the public to get into this atmosphere, enjoy the shows, the activities for the whole family and experience a whole afternoon of rock", highlights Michelle Cirqueira, marketing manager at the Jockey Plaza Shopping. On stage, the public will be able to watch performances by the bands Black Bandana, Supersayajeans and Triple Trouble. The program will also feature lookalikes of major rock stars, who will be available for photos and interaction with visitors throughout the event. Children will have a guaranteed space at the party, with karaoke accompanied by a live band, face painting dressing room, temporary tattoos and a virtual reality experience with musical instruments. The proposal is to encourage creativity, interaction and fun in a themed environment, designed to bring different generations together through music. Among the new features of this edition is the meeting of old cars and motorcycles, which should bring even more style to the party atmosphere. Owners of vehicles over 35 years old will be able to present their car or motorcycle document to receive a parking voucher and guarantee a reserved space close to the stage. Jockey Plaza Rock will also have a flashday and body piercing with Red Fox Tattoo, as well as food and drink options on site. The public will be able to find snacks and snacks from Adoratto Supermercado, as well as draft pilsen and IPA from Beer & Wine. To complete the experience, the suggestion is that visitors improve their look and arrive with clothes, accessories and makeup inspired by the world of rock’n’roll.
