"I was on my way to work, as usual, I live in Rio das Pedras and work in Piracicaba. So, I was on the highway and I noticed something abnormal, I thought it was strange on the road, on my left side, something that until now I hadn't identified what it was. But soon the car in front of me, which was the one that hit the animal, stopped. I stopped soon after and looking once again, I saw the feline, a large, adult jaguar", he stated. According to the witness, the animal appeared to be scared by the situation and demonstrated difficulty in moving around. "So, with the impact of the accident, the jaguar, apparently, was very scared by what happened. Very weakened by the situation, showing a little difficulty there, of pain. But then the vehicles stopped and blocked traffic there. Until the driver of the truck, the other one, managed to remove her to the construction site. But then she got up."
